As the world becomes increasingly more challenging, two forces offer a way to create rays of light, positivity, and belonging - gratitude and giving.
We have all had moments, especially in the last few years, where we may feel like something is lacking, get lost in all the negative news and events, or get so wrapped up in the busyness of life that all the good deeds and intentions we had planned get left to the wayside.
Both gratitude and giving have proven impact to wellbeing, resilience, fulfillment, and performance. Gratitude gives us perspective as it encourages us to look at situations more broadly. Giving is not only great for the people you help, but actually impacts your brain! Neuroscience shows us that giving is powerful in creating more personal joy, improving overall health, and even combating stress - and who doesn’t want some of that!
Together, they can help you forge a meaningful and well-lived life, create better connections and a higher sense of belonging, and create moments that live beyond you to strengthen the world.
Join us as we openly and candidly explore and discuss:
The science behind gratitude and giving
The impact to wellbeing, engagement, and performance
How any person, team, or organization can get involved, even with limited resources
Join this diverse group of leaders, on November 16th, 9-9.30am PT, who will bring their perspectives and experiences from the lens of social impact, executive leadership and science, to explore and discuss the power of gratitude and giving!

Host
SARAH DEANE
CEO MEvolution, Stanford Continuing Studies Wellbeing Instructor, Author
Sarah hosts and facilitates the discussions, asking the tough questions with her usual no B.S. approach, and threading in the energy management, human behavior, and employee psychology lens.
Sarah has researched what is needed to thrive for over 5 years. She found that the secret of those that were resilient, happy, and successful across life, was that they managed their mental, emotional, and physical energy, whether they knew it or not. After discovering the blueprint of behaviors that enabled this, it became her mission to energize the world, one soul at a time. Leading a growing business, teaching at Stanford Continuing Studies, writing for publications, and having a family to care for, Sarah leans on her learnings in her own life to stay productive and serene throughout the day.
